Travis, an ordained elder in the church of the Nazarene, received his master’s degree in Pastoral Leadership in 2022 and his undergraduate degree in 2000 both from Olivet Nazarene University. Before accepting a call to full-time ministry, he was a police officer for 12 years. Travis served at SouthNaz as the Youth Pastor for eight years before becoming the Lead Pastor. Travis’ heart’s desire is to see people love the Lord with all they’ve got, serve and love others, and reach the lost in their community. In his free time, he enjoys camping, boating, riding his dirt bike, being outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Jesi’s love for Jesus and seeing others grow in their relationship with Him and knowledge of His Word is what drives her in her role as associate pastor.  She has ministered to youth for over 20 years and continues to do that alongside her other roles at the church.  Jesi is an ordained elder in the church of the Nazarene and a graduate from Grand Valley State University where she got a degree in Secondary Education. Jesi’s primary job has been raising and homeschooling her and Travis’ children.  Other than spending time with her family, Jesi enjoys playing her guitar, traveling, boating, and being outdoors.

Aaron Roehm is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene.  He served as Worship Pastor at First Church of the Nazarene in San Antonio, Texas as well as Sparks Nazarene Church in Sparks, NV before moving to Lansing.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three children.  Aaron loves Jesus and sharing that love with people through art including music, building things, use of technology, or film making.  A few of Aaron’s hobbies include playing board games, riding bicycles, enjoying books and movies, and learning how to do new things on YouTube.

young adult/Outreach Pastor

Lonnie Kellogg is a hometown kid from Lansing, Michigan. He is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College and an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene where he has served many roles as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and most recently as a Lead Pastor. He and his spouse, Carrie, have lots of grandchildren to spoil and spend miles traveling to see the kiddo’s events while listening to outrageous Dateline Podcasts. Lonnie is passionate about reflecting Jesus in everything he does. He loves to play golf in the summer, read books in the winter and named his dog Dodger as a reminder of the years he spent in his beloved Southern California.

Pastor Maddie grew up in Jackson, Michigan and attended Spring Arbor University. She felt the call to ministry when she was in high school and fully accepted the call during college. Pastor Maddie’s favorite part about working with kids is listening to the stories they tell. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with family.

Marilyn, a graduate of Ferris State University, joined the SouthNaz Staff in April of 2013 and has been a member of the church since 1996. She thanks Jesus every day for the wonderful opportunity of being a part of the SouthNaz Staff. Marilyn loves being a part of the worship team and enjoys power walking, pickleball, reading, and traveling. Spending time with her family is always her number one fun activity!

Brent joined the SouthNaz team in November of 2021 and has been a member of SouthNaz for many years. He is married to Dawn, and together they have 3 daughters. He enjoys spending time with family and just about anything mechanical and DIY. He is driven by the satisfaction of working with his hands and seeing a job well done once it’s finished.
