We’re so glad you’re here! As you begin your journey with us, we offer the following ways to learn more about us, to get connected more deeply at SouthNaz and to find opportunities to grow and serve.
Membership Class
Explores the history, beliefs of a Nazarene, our governance, and ethics of a Nazarene. You’ll learn about the covenant relationship, and you will have an opportunity to take the step toward becoming a member.

Baptism Class
Understand the three reasons for baptism, the meaning of baptism and the process for baptism at SouthNaz. When you join us at these Wednesday night classes, children in your family can join in Faith Factory too.

BIBLE STUDIES
J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth)
The J.O.Y. Sr. Adult Class is primarily comprised of retired adults but open to adults of all ages. The class objective is to study and share God's word utilizing the Nazarene Word Action publication utilizing PowerPoint outlines and class interaction/participation for application to our current and ever-changing world. The class goal is that individuals will value this hour as a learning experience so they can share and bless others.

Men's Bible Study Fellowship
Men's Bible Study for all Christian faiths. This group will be studying the book of Romans. Sponsored by Missionary Baptist Church. Child care provided for 1st - 6th grades.

FELLOWSHIP
Bridge Builders
Fellowship, encouragement, and sharing for those over 50, retire or nearing retirement! Open to everyone. Along with other activities, this group meets monthly for board & table games, a meal, and a great program.

Men’s Breakfast
Join us in the “Man Cave” for breakfast and fellowship! This is an informal gathering of men, boys, and all our male friends. We encourage you to come and invite other men not yet associated with SouthNaz.

PRAYER
Wednesday Evening Prayer Gathering
Intercede for the people and needs of the church, community and the world. Learn ways to pray and join others in lifting up to God the praises and requests of our church, families and individuals. Pray aloud or silently as you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

SUPPORT
Men's Christian Grief Support Group
This group is for widowers—men whose wives have passed. It is open to any religious denomination and non-believers. We share time together over dinner and provide support to those who are grieving their loss and growing as a Christian. Following dinner, a specific grief or spiritual topic is discussed by the group. This group meets year ‘round.

Grief Support Group
Learn about grief and share with others going through their grief experience. This group is appropriate for anyone who has experienced loss regardless of denomination, church affiliation, or spiritual beliefs. This group meets for six weeks.

Choosing a New Path (Grief Support for Women)
This is a group for women who have lost their spouse. A place to find support, friendships, and a time to share and learn with other women who have also lost a spouse. Each participant is expected to have completed the SouthNaz Grief Support Program or a similar program elsewhere. Each session will focus on a variety of topics to aid in their journey.

CONNECTIONS FOR YOUNG ADULTS (18 - 30)
G.P.S. "God's Plan for Singles"
GPS or God's Purpose for Singles is a ministry for single adults ages 18 through 30. While we are currently meeting weekly to study "Goliath Must Fall" by Louie Giglio, we also connect frequently for holiday celebrations, sporting events, concerts, game/movie nights, etc. Our primary focus is community with other adults in this similar stage of life.

1 Timothy 4:12 says, " Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."
Through FUSE, our SouthNaz youth ministry, we seek Jesus and build relationships with each other as we connect in worship, fellowship, discipleship and ministry. By doing these things, we FUSE together.
LIFE GROUPS
(Isaiah 40: 6-8) God renews us with his lasting Word and we exist to be in relationship with each other. Exhale is a way that we come together to deepen relationships and grow spiritually. The life groups are divided into small groups. Sunday mornings on campus at 9:30 am. Come and find out what it’s all about!
FUSE
(2 Chronicles 5:13-14) We believe that getting together regularly is essential to our faith. FUSE is a time where youth get together and worship in a casual atmosphere that bonds us together in song and message. Come as you are, who you are, and learn why you are the way you are. We get together Wednesday nights on campus at 6:30 pm.
Teen Quizzing (Leaders: Jillian & Kirk Rennaker)
In an atmosphere of friendly competition, get to know other teens at South and other churches, learn to study the Bible and memorize Bible verses, learn life application skills and grow in relationship with Jesus. Wednesdays on campus at 5:45 pm, Room 209
Big Comfy Couch
Everyone likes doing things without supervision. Well, here's your chance! Big Comfy Couch is youth led worship where YOU pick the music and YOU pick the message. We will provide the food, fun and great atmosphere. Meet us at SouthNaz on the second Sunday night of the month at 5:00 pm and we will provide the ride to a comfy location off campus.

Children’s Ministries are offered On Campus and are cost free. Plugged In Children's Ministries - Sunday Morning Life Groups With an atmosphere of a small group, Sunday School classes help teach and grow your child in a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Bible and the life changing stories it has to share.

Kids will experience worship created just for them! Using media, games, music, drama, small groups and lots of energy, kids will discover the truth in the parables of Jesus. Ages 4 years to 6th grade will love all the excitement that PowerHouse has to offer! When: Sunday @ 10:30 am, Room 102
On Campus Bible Quizzing
Children‘s Bible Quizzing is a fun and competitive way to learn and memorize the Bible. Focusing each year on a specific book of the Bible, quizzing invites children to friendly competition against kids from other local churches. Ages K- 6th Grade.

Faith Factory
The place where kids learn to serve God and others while putting their faith to work! Using media, games, drama, kids will discover the truth in the Bible.
