  • travis myers, pastor to families with youth

Travis Myers grew up in a Nazarene evangelist’s home and came to know Jesus at a young age. His passion to follow Christ and serve the church has been his heart’s desire for as long as he can remember. After graduating from Olivet Nazarene University in 2000, together  with his wife of 14 years, Jesi, Travis served the Nazarene church as lay leaders. His passion for youth and their families to know Jesus, led them to become actively involved in leadership at Sparta Church of Nazarene and serve as the Michigan District NYI President.  During their lay leadership, Travis & Jesi implemented  and developed a thriving ministry to youth. During their volunteer service, they  received a call to full time ministry. The Lord prompted Travis to resign from his job as a full time police officer and trust God’s plan for his family. Travis plans to pursue an education in Pastoral Ministries while serving the church. The Lord’s faithfulness and Travis & Jesi’s willingness to follow God’s leadership in their lives has brought them to SouthNaz. Travis and Jesi have three children, Sage, Clayton, and Brooklynn.
